Clay and Paper and the giant golden god of winter

2006 ended with one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Under the guidance of Clay and Paper Theatre’s Artistic Director, David Anderson I was strapped into a 16 foot giant god puppet and walked in the KENSINGTON WINTER SOLSTICE PARADE, It was truly incredible. I could look out the bottom of the skirt of the puppet and we were just feet away from the crowds. As I peeked out into a sea of faces young and old gazing up in wonder at my 16 foot high head, I realized exactly how beautifully simple it is to lift up the human spirit. I LOVED this experience.
